Ah the lovely thought of winter disappearing – warms the heart to think of spring coming. No more seriously cold and freezing slushy snowy mess. No, there will be gloriously long days coming after the long winter night and days that eventually last between early morning through to late night. The funny thing about all this is that we have to change the clocks twice a year to make it all easier for people going out to wok or school early and again coming home in the evening. There are other ountries around the world that move their clocks about. Not necessarily the same direction as in this country. .
So rolling towards the end of March, when we ‘spring forward’ and put the clock one hour forward around midnight on the very last Saturday of the month. Then on the very last Saturday of October, we put the clocks back !
